“Mother Caves: the Implications of a Paleolithic Frieze”
By Duncan Caldwell, Prehistorian
Tuesday, August 31, from 5 to 6 p.m.

This engaging talk will explore the ramifications of a single unexplained groove on a cave wall. The implications suggest that women during the Paleolithic era were believed to be at the supernatural crux of a triad between men and animals. It is a preview of Duncan’s upcoming talk to the elite and selective World Congress of Rock Art Organizations.
