Documentary Premiere & DVD Release - Kate Taylor: Tunes from the Tipi & Other Songs from Home

Aquinnah residents Liz Witham and Ken Wentworth are excited to announce the premiere of their documentary "Kate Taylor: Tunes from the Tipi & Other Songs from Home" on Thursday, August 13th!

As part of one of the most famous musical families in America, “Sister Kate” Taylor has had a musical career uniquely her own. This superb documentary captures Kate’s rich musical history, endearing spirit and the inspiration behind her wonderfully crafted songs about home. Many of these songs are about life in Aquinnah.

Screenings are at 5:30pm and 7:15pm on Thursday, August 13th
at the Capawock Theater in Vineyard Haven.

DocuTunes Premiere Party at Che’s Lounge will start at 9pm.
Kate & surprise guests will perform a few songs in this intimate setting.
Tickets to the film are $10.
Tickets to the Premiere Party are $50 in advance, $60 day of show, and include a movie ticket, admittance to the party, and a DVD signed by Kate.
