On Wednesday morning, June 13th, Gladys Widdiss, former Chairperson of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah and respected member of the community, passed away. She will be on view at her home in Aquinnah on Saturday and will remain there until Sunday morning at around 10 a.m. when a cortege will form to circle the town and revisit her favorite places. Her service will be graveside at the Aquinnah cemetery on Sunday, June 17th at 11 a.m.

View beautiful and intricate hand made dolls by Wampanoag artists. The exhibit opening will also feature special guest Leonard from the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, who will perform traditional dances.
