Old School House/Library Renovations Completed in December 2009

During construction, the library relocated across the street, as a temporary measure. The library reopened in the Red Schoolhouse on December 5, 2009 with a party to honor our devoted patrons and generous volunteers. On March 2, the APL Community Celebration was held by the Library, the Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council, The Aquinnah Community Programs Committee and FAPL. We cherish every day in this cheery place. Thank you to all who helped make this dream a reality.
