There have been reported cases of dead birds on the beaches around the island.

If you see one on the beach DO NOT HANDLE or have your PET CONTACT the birds.

If there is a reason to remove a bird use gloves and a mask.

Sick or dead domestic birds (chickens, turkeys, game birds, domestic ducks, etc) should be reported to

Sick or dead wild birds should be reported to the Department of Fish and Game Division of

Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) at 508-389-6300 or mass.wildlife@mass.gov.
