Aquinnah has been designated as a "Green Community"

WE'RE GREEN!!
Congratulations to Bill Lake, Noli Taylor and Kathy Olsen for their work on behalf of Aquinnah. Today we were notified that their selfless efforts resulted in Aquinnah's official designation as a "Green Community." Along with the Green Communities designation Aquinnah was awarded a grant in the amount of $126,530.00. These funds will be used to fund the costs of studying, designing, constructing and implementing energy efficiency and renewable or alternative energy activities in town.
