AQUINNAH CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

On February 21, 2023 at 4:15 PM a public hearing will be held in the Aquinnah town offices under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Aquinnah Wetlands/Water Resource Bylaw to act on a Notice of Intent filed by Jeff Elghanayan for the removal of an existing building, the relocation of two existing buildings, permitting for an existing driveway, patio and pea stone area, all within 200 feet of a Coastal Bank and within the buffer zone of a bordering vegetated wetland.

AQUINNAH CONSERVATION COMMISSION

On February 21, 2023 at 4 PM a public hearing will be held in the Aquinnah town offices under the Aquinnah Wetlands/Water Resource Bylaw to act on a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by CCS Sanctuary, LLC for modifications to the foundation design of a single family dwelling within the buffer zone of a bordering vegetated wetland and estimated habitat of rare wildlife.

“The Commission will meet in Executive Session at 2:45 p.m. on February 21, 2023, under G. L. c. 30A, s. 21(a)(3), to discuss strategy with respect to pending litigation in Conservation Commission et al. v. Elghanayan, 2374CV0002, and 5 Mariner’s Lane because an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the Commission, if the chair so declares and after taking a roll call vote of the Commission.  The Commission will not immediately return to open session, but will conduct meetings in this and other matters, after a 3:30 pm site visit, as posted.”
