- Application to Participate in 10-community FFF Demonstration Program. We filed our application on August 3. Eight other towns have also filed; West Tisbury withdrew. DOER has informed us that our application is complete and is being reviewed.
- Possible Grants for Cliffs erosion project. We are moving ahead with the MVP program about applying for a grant to study and implement measures at the Cliffs to reduce the erosion that is occurring from release of groundwater through a portion of the cliff. The Aquinnah Land Initiative has indicated that it will support the application. The MVP office has indicated that a grant may include funds to enable ALI to purchase the Aquinnah Shop property. We have also talked with the state’s Coastal Zone Management office about applying for a Coastal Zone Resilience grant for the same project. We may return to that depending on how the discussions with MVP go. We have a call with MVP scheduled for Tuesday, October 3.
- Energy Transitions Initiative Partnership Project (ETIPP) Technical Assistance Project. We met with the NREL/LBL team on September 11 to received some initial results of their modeling work. We will meet with them again on October 9 to receive some more refined results.
- Meeting Dates. We will consider other possible meeting dates and times possibly more convenient to committee members.
