Aquinnah Town Treasurer

The Town of Aquinnah is seeking a qualified individual to serve as full-time Treasurer.

This is a full-time benefited position that could begin immediately or no later than July 1, 2022.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing of bi-weekly payroll, benefit administration, catalogue receipts receivables, prepare deposits; post to municipal software; transmit and reconcile receipts monthly w/ tax collector and accountant.

Requirements: Advanced training relating to bookkeeping and/or accounting; three to five years of responsible administrative experience in bookkeeping or collections; municipal financial management experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Salary commensurate with experience. Qualified applicants must pass a background check and have the ability to be bonded.
